In preparations for Summer and to help promote the library's new Park & Read program, John Calvert, owner of Village Cyclery in Pinckney and President of the Friends of the Lakelands Trail group, had a very successful presentation on local Michigan trails for biking, hiking and horseback riding afficionados. Included in the presentation was the progress of our local Lakelands Trail. John's presentation included photos, trail maps, and a video taken from one of his outings. He spoke to a packed room of thirteen people during the Thursday, June 11, 2009 evening presentation, which started at 6:30pm and ended at 8:00pm.
